The Hillfields Readers Group

The Hillfields Readers Group meets once every two weeks to discuss the books they have been reading and give their views on the set books provided for them by Coventry City Councils Library and Information Service or supplied by group members.  The group supported by WATCH have been meeting for over four years and have varied reading preferences, which leads to some lively discussions.  The group also organises events to encourage reading attracting award winning authors into the area to talk about their books.  They regularly run competitions for children, young people and adults within these events.  Trips are also part of the groups remit with recent trips to the Hay on Wye Literature and Ledbury Poetry Festival interspresed with visits to Atherstone, Bosworth and Astleys Book farm.  The group actively welcomes new members so why not drop in and let them know what you have enjoyed reading recently.
