Description and Objectives
The project comprises:-
  • Appointment of an URBAN Projects Officer to support the successful development and delivery of URBAN actions, including ;
  • Supporting local Hillfields groups in the development of projects, securing match funding, making applications and implementing projects,
  • Providing regular monitoring to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in achieving spend and output targets.
  • Part- funding for two other Project Officers providing direct and management support to ensure that URBAN actions are integrated with other funding streams and are complimentary to the full range of regeneration activities in Hillfields.

The project contributes to meeting the requirements of Measure 3 of the Hillfields URBAN Action Plan. It will provide a significant benefit for the local area by encouraging and supporting local community involvement in practical action to regenerate Hillfields.
