Hillfields Carnival Day - Saturday 12th June 1999
We had stalls …….. and Mike Parker …
… and a costume making workshop, (courtesy of Arts Exchange)….
… and a clowning workshop (courtesy of Coventry Community Circus) …
and Quad Bikes…
… and a costume parade …
…. and Wolly gave us a good performance.
Whilst some of us tried out traditional pub games at the Forresters
Hillfields History Walk - Sunday 13th June 1999
From Singers to Sky Blues’ was the second of this years’ three tours looking at the history of the area.
On Monday 15th June we opened the Energy Saving Showhouse
Cllr Peter Lacy and Pat Walsh, Secretary of WATCH do the honours.
and we held the Voluntary Groups Fair…
On Wednesday 16th June Wizzardywoo entertained children at the Under Fives Party at St. Benedict's Nursery.
…and the older people were entertained by Nostalgic at City Farm
On Thursday 17th June we held our Primary Age Disco at the Planet.
On Saturday 19th June we held our Inter-schools indoor athletics challenge.
