November 1999 - January 2000

The Hillfields History Group held its sixth local history walk on Sunday 23^rd January, looking at the trades of Hillfields.

We opened the Hillfields Village Square on 22^nd January 2000.

Greg Wade started work in January as the Hillfields Sports Development Officer.

The Housing Scheme on Victoria Street is nearing completion. This is what the north side of the street looked like on 23^rd December 1999.

Our Administrative Support Officer, Graham Gillions, left Hillfields Area Co-ordination on 23^rd December 1999 to take up a post with the City Council's Area Regeneration Team.

Andrew Dolman started work as the Capacity Building Officer at the Hillfields Area Co-ordination Office on 1^st December 1999

Zoltan Folkhas from the Hungarian City of Kesskemet visited Hillfields on 9^th November 1999
