Hillfields Patchwork Environmental Challenge

The Patchwork Project is a community orientated environmental project run by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust with funding from the European URBAN programme.

On 23rd March 2001 Patchwork launched the Blooming Seats in Hillfields.

Children from Southfields School helped plant bulbs to improve the pocket park at East Street. 

Ongoing Work at Leigh Street Allotments

The Trans-cultural Mental Health Team, working with Patchwork, has taken over the derelict allotments at Leigh Street and has created an attractive garden. 

A Bulb for a Bulb! 5th October 2000

 Local residents of the Hillfields Flats planted bulbs around the estate and were given low energy light bulbs to reward their efforts.

Children from Hillfields Play Centre helped design new outdoor artwork which will be placed around the Hillfields flats.
