Hillfields Events Week 2003 

Saturday 21st June 2003

Events week started with the Four Schools United Wicked Fun Day at Southfields School

The library service brought the mobile library	Lady Godiva came to visit	Our wardens showed how to skip
Dancing with Aliens!	Lots of health stalls	Rob Kwabena, the drumming poet turned up on time
Mehndi	A special thanks to everyone who helped.

Lots of people attended our Bhandan Asian Ladies Event

Lots of children came after school to "Sport in Primrose Park"

Wednesday 25th June 2003

Hillfields Early Years hosted a Beach Party. There was an English Beach with chips and ice cream and a Caribbean Beach with tropical fruit and lots of fun on both

City Farm hosted a tea party for older people

and the children at Hillfields Play Centre organised a disco for all children in Hillfields. 

Thursday 26th June 2003

Age Concern organised an information and fun day for older people at St. Peter's Community Centre

Friday 28th June 2003

The Highlight of the week was our Annual Hillfields Gala Day, held on our Village Square.

We had lots of stalls	Arts Exchange did lots of arty things.	The police helped with Circus skills!
and visits by local digatories	The kids made pots	Local talents performed for us
The Arts and Recycling project used the opportunity to paint our new bins	The Afghan community joined in.	..and  we had a relaxation zone to chill out in ..
