Hillfields Events Group

Welcome to the part of the website devoted to community events in Hillfields.  As some of you may know the actual Events Group changed from being Council run to being community managed in January 2009.  It is probably fair to say that this has been a rather challenging changeover.  The group is keen to hear the views of residents within Hillfields as to the type of events that they feel are relevant to their own lives. 

The Hillfields Events Group has a strong history of  delivering events which have brought together the diverse communities of Hillfields to share and enjoy each other's cultures.  The group has relied on the significant efforts of local volunteers and workers to develop a high quality programme of activity which has included Hillfields Fireworks, Hillfields Gala Week, Hillfields Asian Mela and Party in the Park.  

The group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6.00 p.m. and we welcome new group members. 

The groups next meeting will be at WATCH, Village Square Hillfields on August 6th at 6.00 p.m.
