The Structure of the Partnership Working in Hillfields

• A community regeneration organisation called WATCH has been set up to provide the community leadership in the regeneration of the Area. The full name is Working Actively to Change Hillfields Ltd. It is a membership organisation with an organising committee made up of elected people from different sections of the local community. 

• The Phoenix Area Co-ordination Team is part of the Area Co-ordination Partnership in Coventry. The team is based in Hillfields and oversees partnership work in the Phoenix Area Co-ordination area. 
• The Hillfields Neighbourhood Team is made up of staff from Coventry City Council, Coventry Primary Care Trust, West Midlands Police, The Learning and Skills Council, Coventry and Warwick Universities, local school heads and members of WATCH. The Neighbourhood Team is responsible for the co-ordination of services in Hillfields and the preparation and monitoring of a three year Neighbourhood Plan.

• The Area Co-ordination partnership is accountable to the South Central Area Forum, which is part of the political management arrangements of Coventry City Council. It is made up of the Councillors of St. Michael's and Cheylesmore Wards, a representative of the Cabinet and a number of co-opted community members. 
• Action Groups identify the needs of local people and prepare plans to meet them. At the moment we have 6 Action Groups. They are in most cased jointly accountable to Area Co-ordination and WATCH Ltd.

• Older People's Forum
• The Hillfields Partnership Board oversees our application for an Action Plan for European funding under Objective 2. It is made up city-wide and local partners.
