Hillfields Older People’s Support Scheme

Are you over 60 or know of someone who may benefit from any of the following:

Information and Advice: We aim to provide information and advice on any subject that you require and if we can’t answer your query we will refer you on to someone who can.

Training opportunities: Let us know what training or education you would be interested in and we will let you know where it is happening.

Crime prevention advice: We will offer you information and advice on how to be safe inside and outside the home, working with the wardens and crime safety officers.

Benefit checks: If you feel you are not getting all the benefits you are entitled to then we are able to access a benefit check for you.

Volunteer opportunities: We need volunteers for a variety of positions, such as being on an advisory committee, promotions, befriending and visiting.

Drop in: These are held on a regular basis in various locations, for people to come and have a chat and a cup of tea. This is an ideal way to meet new people and find out what’s going on in the area.

Making friends: We invite you to volunteer and make new friends. Or just come along to one of the many social events that we have on offer.

Social groups: Within Hillfields there are many social groups that meet on a regular basis.

Home visits: We also will visit you in your own home. If you unable to visit the office and wish to speak to someone about any of the services we offer just give us a call
