Hillfields Neighbourhood Warden Project

The project is a partnership approach between Coventry City Council, Whitefriars Homes North, Focus Housing, Touchstone Housing Association, West Midlands Police and WATCH Ltd. This project receives funding from the Home Office's Neighbourhood Wardens Unit and the Neighbourhood Renewal Fund. It aims to make Hillfields a cleaner and safer place to live.

We employ four wardens and a team leader to cover the Hillfields area on foot. They patrol the area regularly in order to gain the confidence of the local community and to allow the community the opportunity to talk to him. They act as the eyes and ears of the partners and residents making regular reports on issues such as

Graffiti
Abandoned cars
Rubbish
Void houses
Crime
Community Safety issues

The wardens are also able to signpost residents to:

Council Departments
Local Police
Residents Groups
and other organisations in the City

The wardens aims to deliver Welcome Packs to every new resident who moves into the Hillfields area.

You can contact the Warden Team Leader, Amy Foster,  on 024 7622 5052
