• Work with local communities to identify their own needs regarding health and health services.

• Apply for longer term funding for a Hillfields Health Development Worker.

• Work with GP's and health practices to establish ways patient participation structures.

• Fund projects run by local groups to contribute to the Health Improvement Plan.

• Set up a One-Stop Healthy Living Centre in Hillfields.

• Identify health and well-being needs for communities new to Hillfields.

• Develop services to help people give up tobacco and paan use.

• Increase opportunities for leisure and physical activities in Hillfields, including supporting the Sports Action Zone.

• Provide advice to women about general and sexual health.

• Provide safety equipment to people on low incomes to reduce the number of domestic accidents.

• Give advice to people about how to eat more healthily.

• Give fruit to all school children aged 5-6.

• Provide advice to the Baby Weaning Group for First Step to Health Eating.

• Give birthday parties to 1-year olds to help change from baby to toddler food.

• Give advice and support to parents who are concerned about their children.

• Complete the funding campaign to buy a defibrillator for community use.

• Establish links with the Healthy Living Centre run by Coventry Sports Trust.
