The WATCH Centre has been refurbished and a new ICT Learning Centre is now open.
A Business web site was established to promote local businesses.
The Phoenix 5 Credit Union has been sustained and is expanding.
The shopping centre project and new housing has been completed.
The Warwickshire Wildlife Trust project has improved over 20 sites.
Arts Exchange have installed artwork at many places in Hillfields.
Work on the St. Peter’s Community Centre has been completed.
A Project Worker supports asylum seekers in Thomas King House.
Hillfields HomeChoice is now fully operational.
A Pilot Furnished Lettings Scheme has been set up for 16-24 year olds.
350 winter security packs and smoke alarm coupons were delivered.
Front line staff in Hillfields received training in mental health awareness.
The gating scheme has been completed – 160 gates have been installed.
Door chains and viewers have been fitted and property postcoded.
The Sector Police base on the Village Square is now in use.
The Neighbourhood Warden project is up and running.
5 new Internet public access points have been set up.
Events were held for Carnival Week, Christmas, Bonfire and Asian Ladies.
An Over 50’s Forum for Hillfields has been established.
There is now crèche provision at three sites in Hillfields.
The Hillfields Young People’s Centre (HYPC) has been improved.
The Youth Work Programme at the centre has been radically improved.
A programme under SRB 5 to support young people has been put in place.
Funding was secured to support projects undertaken by community groups.
A planning group has been established for refugees and asylum seekers.
